Updates from September 15th

Heritage and infrastructure moving forward together this week - the courtyard floor concreted ready for the original cobblestones to go back down, now cleaned and waiting, the historic Mill entrance opening up as a walkway from Bradford Road into the commercial area and garden, roof skylight steelwork on the Bradford Road elevation, safety gates fitted to the lift shafts ahead of lift installation, rooms prepped for curved ceiling trims, skirting and flooring, and cable tray going in through the lift lobby ahead of the electrics. Updates from September 2nd

Heritage repair and fit-out progressing side by side this week - the 200-year-old feature brickwork being repaired in the central courtyard, main roof parapet works under way with the Etihad Stadium behind, window installation on the Bradford Road elevation with the 132kg triple-glazed units craned in, dry lining to the curved Engine House ceilings, brickwork cleaning to the central curved staircases, the old concierge building ready for its feature windows, and appliances and sanitaryware loading out to the 3rd floor. Progress across the site this week - concreting the main lift shafts, four of which serve the building, main drainage going in beside the original arched Mill entrance, sandblasting the concierge building's façade brickwork, and the main roof AOVs being concreted. Restoring the Central Courtyard

A walk through the central courtyard for this week's update. Drainage and groundworks are under way, laying the hardcore base needed to relay Brunswick Mill's original cobblestones - lifted, refurbished and returned to the courtyard they came from. The courtyard remains on track for completion by the end of October 2026.
